Quamby Bluff (October 2016)

Quamby Bluff is an odd climb, alternating between barren (albeit impressive) rock scree and cool forest that typifies an ‘enchanted wood’ setting.

It’s an almost entirely uphill climb, but gentle enough to not be too much of a challenge. The views from the top were great, but today was fairly hazy so seeing off into the distance wasn’t too doable, unfortunately.

That said, it was an absolute pearler of a day, so at least getting to roam around under a big blue sky made up for some haze-obscured views.
