I live in Tasmania.
It’s the little island at the bottom of Australia.
It’s tiny, and mostly uninhabited.
And it’s beautiful.
I HIKE A LOT
One day in 2015 I woke up and went for a walk, and I haven’t really stopped doing that since.
I’m trying to cover off as much of this state with my own eyes as I can.
I take photos along the way (you can see them all over this site)
As much as I can, I try to see new places.
And I want you to do the same.
SO HERE’S THE THING
It’s really easy to do this.
All you need is your feet on the ground and a willingness to move them.
And a camera.
In terms of photography skill, I have very little.
I use an iPhone and a $5 tripod that I got at K-Mart.
GO CLIMB A MOUNTAIN
Put one foot in front of the other.
Then keep doing that.
Sooner or later, you’re at the top.
“A really pertinent quote about hiking that isn’t some bullshit thing people would put on a picture of a sunset and post to instagram”
